Adults seem to lack a lateral spot. Pronounced nuchal hump present in some individuals, and very thin lateral bars (thin lateral bars visible in Weidner's "South American Eartheaters").
Most probably ovophilious.
Comments:
It appears this altifrons variant was one of the first "surinamensis types" to come into the country, and although it has been in the country for quite some time, there seems to be very limited numbers present.
